I'm Liz Brown, a clinically trained social worker specializing in helping families navigate the overwhelming emotions that come with a loved one's dementia diagnosis.

When dementia enters your family’s story, it brings a unique form of grief—you're experiencing the gradual changes in someone deeply important to you while they're still physically present.

This creates a complex emotional landscape that traditional resources rarely address. There’s uncertainty, fear, exhaustion—and often a deep sense of isolation.

I’ve walked this path too, supporting my husband as we navigated his father's Alzheimer’s diagnosis. I understand the delicate balance of love and grief, hope and helplessness, that defines this journey.

In this workshop, I’ll combine my professional training with my lived experience to help you:

  • ✔️ Process complex emotions without feeling overwhelmed
  • ✔️ Find meaningful connection as your relationship evolves
  • ✔️ Build resilience that honors both your loved one’s needs and your own
  • ✔️ Discover moments of peace in the middle of uncertainty

This session is your first step toward a steadier, more supported way forward.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • 3 clear, compassionate steps to help you stabilize emotionally
  • Tools to manage overwhelm and confusion with confidence
  • A roadmap that supports your emotional health, not just logistics
  • Relief that you’re not doing this alone—and don’t have to
